Peace Ridge Sanctuary invites you to join in the 2022 5k Run for the Animals & 1 Mile Fun Walk on October 8, 2022 at our Northeast Equine Facility in Freedom, Maine. Our race is designed to support the lifesaving work Peace Ridge does every day. Help us to continue providing quality care to the animals, rescue more animals in need and aid in fostering compassion towards animals through encouraging a plant-based diet. The race is a 5k (3.1 miles – ) and is a run or 1 mile walk open to all levels of physical fitness. It’s a great day to enjoy the company of fellow animal lovers & plant eaters.
Check-in: check in & packet pick up begins at 9:45 am (race starts at 11 am)
Location: 32 Irving Lane, Freedom, Maine
Parking/Entrance: Corner of Barnes Road & Irving Lane, Albion, Maine
Raffle Tickets: raffle tickets will be sold between 9:45 am until the race begins for $1 each.
Awards: for the top 2 fundraisers, top team and top overall, male, female, and children finishers will be announced at 12:30 pm.
Complimentary eco-friendly reusable bags for registered participants will include bib numbers, safety pins & plenty of room to collect goodies courtesy of our sponsors!
T-shirts will be available for purchase through our website soon & will be available on race day (as long as supplies last).
Additional great prizes will also be raffled off but the real focus of the race is of course the animals who we are running to support.
