Over 450 animals call Peace Ridge Sanctuary home. They come from a myriad of backgrounds; they were neglected, abused, forgotten, or displaced due to the overwhelming attitude in our society that animals are “disposable."  At Peace Ridge, we not only offer a permanent home for these animals but also strive the alter attitudes towards them.

As advocates for all animals, in addition to our rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary programs for farmed animals and equines, Peace Ridge stewards and protects nearly 2,000 acres for wildlife conservation and land preservation in beautiful midcoast Maine. We also have an active dog rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption program.
